Is keira a good name for a half spanish half irish baby?

i'm spanish and my boyfriend is irish, i want an irish or gaelic name, but i want my spanish speaking family members to be able to pronounce it properly.

Is keira a good name for a half spanish half irish baby?
YESS! it's adorable, that will be sooo cute i love it
Reply:Sure why not? It's a pretty name.
Reply:it's a very beautiful name
Reply:The name is only good, if both parents agree on it. Do not worry about other people. Your family will be able to pronounce it if you tell them how. Likewise for the Irish side.
Reply:my daughter is irish and puerto rican and i named her kyara
Reply:Well if it sounds nice in both languages then yeah go ahead
Reply:I think it's a lovely name :)
Reply:yup
Reply:yes it well make a great name for the baby
Reply:yes, keira is a great name! my mom is named Keira
Reply:ya its beautiful
Reply:Yep, it's purdy.
Reply:I think you've nailed it. This name would be perfect for this reason. Go for it.
Reply:sounds like a dog name
Reply:Mabey something for both like how Robert can be Roberto. But yeah its an awesome name
Reply:Keira...a nice name :D
Reply:Thats probably gonna be hard to pronounce correctly for you family.

It would probably sound more like "keh-eedah" being that "ei" doesn't sound like "ee" in spanish but "eh-ee" instead and "r" sound in spanish is different than the "r" sound in English.

Maybe something more like Gwen from Gwenevyre. Gwen sounds Irish to me and it would be easier to say being that it would sound the same in spanish.
Reply:Of course !!!
Reply:I LOVE it!

:)
Reply:How about change the "R" to "L"...

it is spelled a s Keila...

In my opinion, Keila is better...

but still, the decision is yours..
Reply:I like it!
